Thank you all for a wonderful year! I thoroughly enjoyed the year; getting to know and working with your children. I hope they all come back in later years and share their success stories with me. Please enjoy these pictures from our Bayside Day.

We’ve had some problems with rowdy kids lately, not to worry though, I called the police yesterday and took care of it. Thank you to Officer Bressler for letting us take a look at her cruiser.

We had a fabulous day visiting the statehouse, Rock of Ages, and Ben & Jerry’s factory in Waterbury. Please enjoy these pictures of our class. Pay close attention to the sad faces in the ice cream graveyard as children mourn the loss of the flavors they will never taste.

We had a great time today using our procedures to make popsicle stick sleds. Students used procedures they wrote to make popsicle sticks sleds, to actually make the sleds with classroom dads. This was one of the best activities I’ve done with a group of parents and students in quite awhile. I think the principal was a little nervous when she saw 8 men with blocks of wood and drills in the lobby, but her fears were quickly put aside when she realized they were here to work with their kids. Great job today dads, thanks for your help, and enjoy the slideshow.
